Hardware

Your employees will cheer: ergonomics and technology combined in the mini barcode scanner.

The digital era and Industry 4.0 are characterized by connectivity, data, machines and technology. But the digital transformation in the warehouse can only fully unfold its effect if it takes people with it and adapts. The partnership with ProGlove, the provider of intelligent scanner gloves, shows how this can work.

We have had a Gold partnership with ProGlove since 2019. This gives us project pricing, technical support and ongoing product training. This results in a lot of advantages for our customers. They can borrow demo devices through us and order devices at favorable special conditions below the list price. In addition, the simple integration into our warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8 allows different application possibilities to be tested in practice. Of course, we also advise and support every interested party.

ProGlove, a provider of industrial wearables, aims to make logistics in the manufacturing industry faster, safer and more ergonomic. They help warehouse employees become more efficient. True to its motto, "Equip your workers with scanning solutions that get the job done!", the company makes the world's lightest, smallest and most rugged wireless barcode scanners. The scanners provide employees with actionable information for more efficient workflows. Meaning: a significant reduction in workload.

‍Stayconnected: Getting something new off the ground
We have developed a standardized solution with ProGlove and extended the platform with the ProGlove API. By combining our warehouse management software and the glove, we make the warehouse more efficient. The direct connection of a wearable like the ProGlove Mark Display to our warehouse management system SuPCIS-L8 ensures successful order processing. The processing is supported by fast and ergonomic data entry with the devices.

Progress always means breaking new ground: "Our ergonomic hardware and the flexible software from S&P combine seamlessly to create an efficient overall solution. The cooperation with S&P is uncomplicated at all times - we appreciate that very much and look forward to further projects with anticipation," says Alexander Kapp, Senior Channel Sales Manager at ProGlove. "We have had a close partnership with ProGlove since 2019. It always gives me great pleasure to present ProGlove's products to our customers, to test them together and to witness them moving into the warehouse. The experts from ProGlove are always on hand to advise us - a partnership at eye level. I am looking forward to further cooperation," continues Ingrid Rosner, Business Development Manager at our company.
