Successful together

German Logistics Association (BVL)

BVL is an open network of people who actively promote efficient cooperation in the globalized economy. The core objective is to communicate the importance of supply chain management and logistics and to promote their application and development. As a company, we benefit greatly from the events, research groups and training courses and look beyond our own horizons. This is extremely important, especially with regard to the further development of our components(warehouse management software, material flow computer, AutoStore connection).

Facts

  • Founded in 1978

The BVL represents around 10,000 specialists and managers from industry, trade, services and science worldwide. It sees itself as an active community whose members want to look beyond their spheres of activity in order to benefit professionally and personally - and to make a contribution. BVL places particular emphasis on the exchange of knowledge and experience.

An important driving force is the more than 290 honorary functionaries who are involved in BVL in addition to their management and technical duties in their companies. Around 40 regional groups worldwide ensure local and regional anchoring, organizing more than 300 free events a year for members.
