Features and innovations

Now there are no more excuses: Warehouse management system can also be operated via cell phone.

An efficient and successful warehouse management solution must also meet the high expectations of users on mobile devices. It is no longer sufficient to simply provide access to all data and information via a mobile device. The content must be visually presented in such a way that one glance is enough to quickly grasp and understand relevant information.

These are features that we otherwise only know from smartphones. Our mobile SuPCIS-L8 client Ueeze now makes this wide range of functions possible for you in intralogistics - an ideal basis for the digital warehouse. This has a long tradition with us. After all, we designed the first mobile application for touchscreens back in 1996. And that was 10 years before the introduction of the iPhone. This already high standard is now being continued and refined.

When it comes to the user interface, we place particular emphasis on functional design and ergonomics for the best possible user experience. Now the images, dashboards and color concepts available on larger screens are also available on mobile devices. Color-coded charts such as bar charts or pie charts with progress indicators. Responsive yet adaptive? Previously, you had to turn on rotation lock on mobile devices because the application did not allow rotation. If the mobile client is also used for desktop logistic applications, the width of the rotated screen can be used to display things that would not be visible in portrait mode or would be small. You simply rotate the device and the application adjusts to the changed screen size. You use a different device with a different resolution? No problem, the application adjusts automatically. Color, font size and display format can be individually adjusted to the user's preferences. Another special feature: integrated voice support. The platform is available for Android and iOS.

‍Easieruse of integrated cameras
In the area of goods receiving or returns processing, photographic documentation is indispensable in many cases. Thus, the application has several features that make the integration and use of photos even easier. For example, a photo of a product can be taken at the touch of a button, linked to the master data by scanning the part number, and stored in the warehouse management system. At the same time, photos taken can be labeled or marked directly in the application, damaged areas on the product can be highlighted or comments can be added directly.

In practice, this new range of functions and the associated options offer you real added value. More extensive dialogs can now also be operated mobile, easily, quickly and intuitively in multiple languages. What's more, your warehouse staff - from pickers to control station employees to logistics managers - have access to all the information they need for their work, anywhere and at any time. They can simultaneously perform all interactions that they would otherwise have performed on the stationary computer. The new mobile client of our warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8 leads to increased mobility and efficiency in the warehouse and also provides a stable and high-performance basis that is scalable and adaptable in the long term.
