Features and innovations

Logstiktipps for optimization-willing enterprises, which are caught in the treadmill.

Large open-space warehouses that must be well organized, the logistical handling of material supply and disposal from production and a complete and transparent overview of the material flow - requires special and reliable handling for manufacturing companies. These processes can be implemented in an uncomplicated and simple way with our warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8. These include: production supply and disposal, batch traceability and the possibility of integrating innovative tugger train solutions.

‍Mastering production supplyand disposal successfully

Various (raw) materials are usually used for the production of semi-finished and finished goods. Depending on the company and organization, these are made available to the production process in different ways for further processing.

To ensure optimal and efficient supply to production , our warehouse management software supports material provisioning. Information is exchanged via an interface between our warehouse management system and the ERP system. This creates an important prerequisite, namely the networking of material flows in the warehouse.

In this context, it makes sense to integrate deviating replenishment strategies or processes of material provision for production via the Warehouse Management System SuPCIS-L8. For example, the provision in fixed replenishment batches by means of integrated Kanban processes with mobile data acquisition. Unnecessary waiting times are thus avoided in production and the processes are kept running.

Transparent, efficient and innovative on the move

The traceability of batches is also an important part of intralogistic production processes for manufacturing companies. Through the functional support of batch management with our warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8, it is possible to keep the product supply chain as transparent as possible and to trace it back seamlessly in this way. In the master data it is determined which products must be managed with a batch number. If a product is "subject to batch numbering," the stored information and numbers in the warehouse management system enable precise assignment to the entire batch. There is also the possibility of managing different master data such as packaging dimensions or number of parts per packaging unit and per batch through the clever use of the SuPCIS L8 data model.

In addition, it is possible to supplement the logistics processes with innovative tugger train solutions, coupled with a tugger train management system integrated in SuPCIS-L8 or automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The available interfaces make it possible to connect a wide variety of systems at low cost, integrate them into the material flow and streamline and automate the entire process. At the same time, the system solution can be upgraded with additional features and supplementary processes at any time.

The result: greater security of supply for production, shorter throughput times, higher output and the associated competitiveness. You also have a complete and transparent overview of the material flow in the warehouse.
