With Rink GmbH & Co. KG in Solms, another company in the electrical wholesale sector will be switching to the SuPCIS-L8 warehouse management system. The go-live is already planned for the first quarter of 2026 - an ambitious schedule that requires tight timing of all project phases.
New software team
The project launch is underway: The specifications will be finalized by July 2025, detailed design and configuration will follow by the end of the third quarter and commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025. Rink recently became part of the Zander Group - a long-standing customer of S&P | Element Logic. As part of the integration, Rink is now relying on the established WMS SuPCIS-L8 like its parent company and is supplementing this with the ERP system SHCware from SHComputersysteme GmbH. The company is thus setting the course for the end-to-end digitalization of its processes.

A new start with a tailwind from Zander
"Rink was previously using outdated and barely maintainable software products. These are now being completely replaced by SuPCIS-L8 and SHCware. This is not only a technological milestone, but also the start of a new, future-proof era for our warehouse in Solms," says Peter Graeßner, responsible for ERP process management at Rink. Graeßner had already looked at the existing system at Zander before the start of the project - and his impression was convincing: "I was impressed by the flexibility, transparency and scalability of SuPCIS-L8. The decision in favor of this system was made quickly and easily." The new Managing Director of Rink GmbH & Co. KG, Jürgen Küth, adds: "The introduction is a central building block in the strategic realignment of the site in Solms. After the insolvency and the takeover by Zander, the focus is now on efficient growth - with modern IT as the backbone."
With Rink, S&P | Element Logic is expanding its customer portfolio in the electrical wholesale sector and strengthening its position as a partner for end-to-end, future-proof logistics processes - even under tight time constraints.
