Perfectly connected - Ernst Granzow GmbH & Co. KG. trusts in S&P and SuPCIS-L8

Leonberg, 08.02.2023. Start of the year at the electrical wholesaler Ernst Granzow GmbH & Co. KG - almost at the same time as the turn of the year, the commissioning of the warehouse management system SuPCIS-L8 took place at the site in Leonberg. After intensive weeks of preparation and coordination, the project participants were rewarded with a successful start-up. A successful start and the starting signal for further projects.

After many months of planning, realization and implementation of the new processes for the electrical wholesaler Granzow, all signs are green. With the introduction of the warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8, Granzow has a modern warehouse management software that not only serves the current requirements, but also keeps open further potential for implementation. The implementation project at the Leonberg site is now to be followed by many other projects and possibly other sites of the electrical wholesaler in the further course of the joint cooperation.

In addition to the general requirements of the industry, such as cable logistics, an option for dynamic storage location management was also implemented. This enables Granzow to dynamically adapt the size of a storage location to the load carrier in order to make the best possible use of the available space.

"With the electrical wholesaler Granzow, another member of the Fegime wholesale association is now one of our customers - so in combination with the host system of our partner SHC, we were able to bring in a lot of experience from the already existing projects, develop concepts further and thus design new processes based on the customer's requirements". Says Ferdinand Gantert, Senior Project Manager at S&P.

The new mobile client of the warehouse management system SuPCIS-L8, which was presented at LogiMAT 2022, will also be used. With its use, Granzow has improved functions in the area of mobile logistics, a new user interface and native voice support.

"With the introduction of the SuPCIS-L8 warehouse management software at the Leonberg site, we have reached the first major milestone. With the ramp-up and operation, we are already experiencing a great improvement in the warehouse. Our new warehouse management system offers us far-reaching flexibility with regard to processes and further optimizations, which our customers also expect from us - the ideal basis for our further growth. Special thanks also go to the entire project team at S&P and Granzow, who worked closely together to ensure a successful go-live," says Granzow's Managing Director Pantaleone Clausi.
