LogiMAT 2023: S&P links Warehouse Management and Data Science

Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 13.02.2023. S&P Computersysteme GmbH, provider of intralogistics IT solutions, will present the warehouse management platform SuPCIS-L8 at LogiMAT in Stuttgart (Hall 8, Booth C41) from April 25-27, 2023 - this year for the first time as part of the Element Logic Group. Innovations are first and foremost new features of the software. The software manufacturer from the Stuttgart region attaches particular importance to the topic of Data Science. Thus, visitors will learn which use cases are applied in practice and which potentials are raised by this. Furthermore, S&P offers interested students and applicants the opportunity to learn more about current job offers and the daily work routine.

S&P is one of the leading solution providers in the field of intralogistics IT. The customers of the expert for warehouse management are dynamic and rely on a highly available, scalable and customizable platform for the realization of intelligent and automated solutions in intralogistics. In addition to various innovations of the software, S&P presents this year some results from the Data Science projects, in which warehouse strategies are linked with Artificial Intelligence.

Data Science in Intralogistics Brings Enormous Benefits

Inefficient warehouse processes, limited warehouse capacities, a lack of skilled workers - these are often reasons why companies are unable to achieve their growth targets and fully exploit their actual potential. But where to start if the implemented optimizations in the warehouse do not show the desired effect? This is exactly where S&P comes in with its "Warehouse Performance" program. In addition to optimized inventory reservation and batch planning, the focus is on the application of the "Warehouse Healing" strategy - an intelligent warehouse strategy, fed with data from the warehouse, continuously optimizes the warehouse to achieve, for example, a minimization of picking paths. "In a software-supported and already highly optimized intralogistics, the use of data with the application of artificial intelligence is the key to continuous improvement, optimization and further growth," says Rémy El Abd, Managing Director at S&P.

Easier to use thanks to native integrations and improved UI

Modern warehouse management software must meet the high expectations of users in every respect. This is especially true when the software determines the physical processes and guides the user - such as in a warehouse. For this reason, in addition to the further development of the solution, S&P also deals with the integration of external tools as well as innovative hardware solutions. These integrations open up new possibilities for the user in many respects: in addition to the improved use of mobile computers or wearables, such as the integration of cameras, sensors can also be evaluated in the future, for example, to measure the workload of an employee. An integrated voice solution offers additional flexibility in the use of the software. Furthermore, the new and improved user interface enables a simpler condition - visitors can experience this and much more live at the booth.

Information for applicants

Also at this year's LogiMAT, S&P offers interested students and applicants the opportunity to learn more about open positions at S&P directly at the booth. In a personal conversation, interested parties will learn everything about the relevant position and can apply directly online afterwards.
