IWL Logistics Day 2022: successful appearance of S&P with digital solution for modern and future-proof warehouse management

True to the motto "Logistics from one source", S&P Computersysteme GmbH, provider of intralogistics IT solutions, informed about the possibilities of the warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8 and its full service portfolio at the IWL Logistics Day in Ulm (specialist forum around logistics). Under the keyword "Warehouse Performance Suite", the Stuttgart experts presented the potential of the "Warehouse Healing" strategy. In doing so, visitors were shown where warehouse management software can provide support in order to increase performance in the warehouse with the help of data-based strategies.

This year's IWL Logistics Day was a complete success for S&P. A large number of interested parties visited the S&P info booth, had personal conversations with the S&P experts present and informed themselves about the novelties of the Stuttgart-based logistics software provider as well as about the possibilities of a warehouse management software like SuPCIS-L8. Whether goods receiving, quality assurance, storage, order management, replenishment control, picking, order combination, dispatch control or inventory - with SuPCIS-L8 no intralogistic task remains unsolved.
The visitors were also very interested in the topic "Warehouse Performance Suite". Based on a concrete practical example, S&P showed the visitors how optimizations can be realized with the help of the new modules. In addition to optimized inventory reservation and batch planning, the focus was on the application of the "Warehouse Healing" strategy. The raw material for the strategy is the data from the WMS - for example, baskets of goods are analyzed and the potential of stock transfers is shown. The aim is to identify existing patterns, for example in the order history, and to help minimize picking paths by intelligently placing products.

"The IWL Logistics Day has enjoyed great popularity in the industry for years. For us it was a complete success and a great event! So we could use the days on site and the common exchange again well to inform about current and future developments of S&P and our WMS SuPCIS-L8. We are already looking forward to next year!", says Steffen Lebherz (Head of Operations at S&P Computersysteme GmbH).
