Say goodbye to tedious storage bin searches, the software takes care of it.

A diverse range of articles from small parts to large-volume goods and cable drums requires maximum flexibility in warehousing and order picking for every company. Diverse articles of the most varied sizes and characteristics require load carriers and storage locations with the most varied dimensions. Ergo: On the one hand, this makes the search for storage locations very complex and results in a multitude of storage location types. As a result, companies are often faced with the challenge of having a number of free storage bins of one type and a shortage of other types. This makes storage particularly difficult or inefficient. In addition, a changing product range means that the existing storage space has to be regularly reconfigured and (re)structured. This does not have to be the case!

Through dynamic bin management with our warehouse management system SuPCIS-L8, you get maximum flexibility and the best possible storage capacity out of your warehouse. In practice, the space between two cross carriers is divided into places. Then it is defined how many places of this type a load carrier needs. Here it is necessary to take into account that this can be quite different depending on the storage area. For storage, the system checks where enough adjacent spaces are free and - if available - suggests the appropriate space. At the same time, it often happens that there are special sizes that can only be used for very specific load carriers. By means of our warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8 and the process stored there, it is possible to define and specify overflows.

With this kind of the storage location management in SuPCIS-L8 further options result from the numerous configuration possibilities. So there is the possibility to configure a field as dynamically allocatable or for each field size only the permissible dynamic allocations. For the user it is likewise possible to define per storage area the size of the load carrier concretely. This means that the same load carrier can require different numbers of dynamic standard spaces in different areas. If the dynamic storage bin allocation is not sufficient, explicit overflows can also be configured.

Your advantages: With dynamic warehousing, the available storage space can be used more efficiently. The remaining free spaces are available for each stored item and the storage capacity is thus ideally fully utilized. This leads to increased efficiency and more flexibility in warehouse allocation.
