Solution Developer - Automation (m/f/d)

As a Solution Developer - Automation within our Professional Services team, you will play a key role in implementing customized automation solutions for our customers. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and product developers to develop efficient and scalable solutions for modern warehouse logistics.

• Development and implementation of automation solutions such as conveyor technology, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and other warehouse automation technologies within our warehouse control system SuPCIS-WCS.
• Design, implementation, testing and commissioning of customer-specific automation solutions in close cooperation with the Consulting, Operations and Managed Services departments
• Co-design and further development of the integration of automation technologies into our Warehouse Control solution.
• Documentation and standardization of solutions for efficient scaling and sustainable implementation within the Element Logic Group.

• You have good knowledge and skills in the following areas:
  • Object Oriented Programming (best: Java, Kotlin)
  • RESTful APIs 
  • C
  • Test Driven Development / Test Automation
  • Clean Code  

• You are interested in or already have skills in some of the following areas:
  • git
  • Linux (RedHat)
  • relational databases (Oracle)

• You enjoy implementing, configuring and testing solution requirements in our warehouse management software SuPCIS-L8 in the Dynamic Transport Control (DTC) module and providing the customer with best practices. 
• You have the creativity and stamina to get to the bottom of complex problems or last-level support and find solutions.
• You understand self-organization and compliance with documentation requirements as a natural part of success. 
• You enjoy gaining an in-depth insight into our customers' operations on site during the requirements definition and as part of the introduction and training and are also willing to travel during these phases. 
• You enjoy working with customers and proactive communication on all channels is a matter of course for you. 
• You find it easy to dive fearlessly into code, even if it involves previously unknown modules.
• You enjoy passing on your technical know-how to our solution development teams or team members.
• You are business fluent in German and ideally have a good to very good knowledge of English.
