Your tasks:

  • The administration of Linux systems, essentially Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • The administration of Oracle Standard Edition
  • The testing, preparation and execution of operating system and database upgrades
  • Supporting our helpdesk with problems with the operating system, database, our logistics software and peripheral devices
  • Participation in the maintenance of our knowledge base and system documentation

We are looking for you if...

  • You have a university degree or completed training in the IT environment
  • Logical thinking comes easily to you, you are a positive thinking and solution-oriented team player (m/f/d) and can communicate very well
  • You like to administer Linux systems
  • You are familiar with networks and know what `tcpdump`, `netstat` and `Wireshark` mean.
  • You are driven by continuous improvement and sustainable problem solving
  • You like to familiarise yourself with new topics
  • You are business fluent in German and have a good to very good command of English
